Marybelle Transportation Service began with love.

The company is named after my mother, Marybelle, whose kindness, strength, and compassion shaped the woman I am today. She believed that every person deserved to be treated with dignity, respect, and genuine care. Those lessons stayed with me throughout my career in healthcare, where I spent decades caring for patients as a medical professional.

As I watched the growing need for dependable transportation for seniors and individuals with disabilities, I realized something important. People weren't just struggling to get to doctor's appointments. Many were missing family gatherings, church services, grocery trips, and simple moments that most of us take for granted because they didn't have reliable transportation.

I wanted to change that.

Marybelle Transportation Service was created to provide more than transportation. It was built to give people the confidence to remain independent, the comfort of knowing someone truly cares, and the peace of mind that they will be treated like family every step of the way.

Every client who rides with us reminds me why this business exists. Every trip is an opportunity to serve someone with compassion, patience, and kindness, the same values my mother instilled in me.

As we begin this new series, Marybelle Moments, I'll be sharing some of the stories that have touched my heart over the years. Some will make you smile. Some may bring a tear to your eye. All of them remind me that transportation isn't simply about getting from one place to another.

It's about helping people stay connected to the people, places, and moments they love.
